The SANbox 6140 provides low cost, storage area network (SAN) connectivity services for the entire enterprise with performance to support up to 512 servers and wizard-based configuration.

The AMCC PowerPC 440SP storage processor enables the new QLogic([R]) storage router products to deliver unmatched performance, flexibility for SAN connectivity by routing standard Ethernet, via iSCSI, to a Fibre Channel controller for simultaneous storage access from Fibre Channel and Ethernet-based networks. With multiple PCI-X (PCI eXtended) An enhanced PCI bus technology originally developed by IBM, HP and Compaq that is backward compatible with existing PCI cards.
