AMC announces redesign of U.S. Navy gun component. (Metalcasting Associations).


The American Metalcasting Consortium (AMC), a partnership formed by AES, SFSA SFSA Steel Founders' Society of America , NFFS NFFS Nonfederal Financial Support (Public Broadcasting)
NFFS Nonferrous Founder's Society
 and NADGA to increase the utilization of metal castings in government defense applications, announced the successful redesign of a handgrip component for the U.S. Navy's MK-38 Machine Gun System.

This redesign program was funded through the Procurement Readiness Optimization--Advanced Casting Technology Program sponsored by the Defense Supply Center Philadelphia and the Defense Logistics Agency Noun 1.
