AMC Theatres to Open 18-Screen Megaplex at Tysons Corner Center.

AMC Entertainment Inc. (AMEX:AEN), a leader in the theatrical exhibition industry, announced today that it plans to open an 18-screen megaplex theatre at Tysons Corner Center in McLean, Va., pursuant to an agreement with Wilmorite Properties, Inc., co-owner and manager of Tysons Corner Center.

The 101,000 square-foot theatre complex is targeted for an August 2005 opening and will anchor a new entertainment wing at the Center, which also will include restaurants, cafes, a bookstore and other leisure and retail venues.
