WOODBURY, N.Y., Sept. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- On Wednesday, Oct. 14, at 8:30 p.m., the American Movie Classics Television Network will premiere the last interview with actor Anthony Perkins, who passed away over the weekend.
Perkins gave his last interview to Professor Richard Brown in July for AMC's Reflections on the Silver Screen series. This very special interview will be followed by a showing of Perkins' most famous film, Alfred Hitchcock's "Psycho" at 9 p.m. ("Reflections: Anthony Perkins" will also be seen at 12:30 a.m., and on Oct. 17 at 4:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.).
In "Reflections," Perkins talks candidly about his screen career, including the "Psycho" film series, "Friendly Persuasion" (1956), "Fear Strikes Out" (1957) and "Desire Under the Elms" (1958).
Perkins' role as baseball player Jimmy Piersall in "Fear Strikes Out," will also be showcased in the AMC original production "Diamonds on the Silver Screen," the story of baseball and the movies, premiering on Oct. 15 at 8 p.m.
