American Multiplexer Corporation (OTCBB:AMUT) announced today its launch of their newest suite of product offerings, the Multicast Management Console.

The AMC management console is a web-based IP multicast management tool that enables customers to manage their own broadband content delivery, whether it's within their enterprise network or via AMC's corporate Intranet satellite overlay network. From a single screen users can locate and distribute content anywhere in the network with the platform independence of java-based applets. For the former Starburst customer, the Management Console combines the functionality of the 1.75 Omnicast product with the independence of the Internet allowing the Omnicast user to launch its multicast services from any browser-based client.

Built on Oracle 8i, the Management Console provides a high standard of integrity through the Virtual Private Database feature with the ability to isolate information between groups so executive content is kept as confidential as a new development project or marketing campaign. The management console's unique two-way import/export feature allows the flow of information to be exchanged both ways. This resolves duplications and database synchronization discrepancies. MC seamlessly imports existing starburst receiving hosts. The biggest advantage is preservation of legacy work and elimination of re-keying data by migrating systems transparently to best-of-breed technology that is achieved through the OS independency of JAVA.

Quickly access and run reports from the intuitive report templates or customize options, insert corporate logos, create your own headers, then output the results in various formats such as: PDF, excel, HTML and others.
