AMC Creve Coeur 12 Megaplex to Open With Benefit for Tappmeyer Homestead; ``Night At the Movies'' to Aid Historic Restoration Project.

 will host a charity gala Wednesday, Sept. 22, to benefit the restoration of the Tappmeyer Homestead, in conjunction with the grand opening of a 12-screen megaplex theatre Sept. 24.

 12, the latest, state-of-the-art example of the megaplex concept developed by AMC, will host "Night at the Movies," a VIP gala to benefit the renovation of the century-old Tappmeyer farmhouse as a historical museum, connecting Creve Coeur's past to its present. The new megaplex is in a free-standing building at 10465 Olive Blvd., in the Creve Coeur Pavilion (Olive Boulevard and Old Olive Street Road).
