Massacre and madness ensue at 6 PM with HALLOWEEN 4: THE RETURN OF MICHAEL MYERS (1988) (repeats October 26 @ 4 PM and 11 PM, October 27 @ 8 AM, October 28 @ 8 PM, and November 1 @ 2:30 AM). Returning to the plot of the original two films in the franchise, psychotic Michael (George P. Wilbur) emerges from a ten-year coma and returns to his killing spree, beginning with his niece (Danielle Harris). In the end, his un-hinged niece takes over, adding a new twist to an old theme.

The marathon continues with HALLOWEEN 5 (1989) at 8 PM (repeats October 26 @ 6 PM, October 27 @ 1 AM & 10 AM, October 28 @ 11 PM and November 1 @ 4:30 AM). Bearing the sub-title The Revenge of Michael Myers, the film opens by revealing that Michael's 9-year-old niece, again played by Danielle Harris, has not followed in his footsteps and killed her stepmother as implied at the end of HALLOWEEN 4. Harris has psychic flashes whenever Michael (Donald Pleasence) is about to kill - and inevitably his masked eye turns to her, with the murderer unsuccessfully trying to carve up his niece. Filled with the mandatory slaughter, make-out and practical joke scenes, HALLOWEEN 5 again is a guarantee to keep you on the edge of your seat.

AMC's MonsterFest 24/7 is a 7-day, 154-hour-long Halloween marathon that is the ultimate television destination for monster movies and themed original programming.
