:AMB) declared a dividend for the quarter ending December 31, 2000 of $0.37 per share on Common Stock. The dividend will be payable on December 22, 2000, to stockholders of record as of December 12, 2000.

AMB Property Corporation's Board of Directors also declared a dividend for the three month period ending January 14, 2001 of $0.53125 per share of its 8.5% Series A Cumulative Redeemable Preferred Stock Stock shares that have preferential rights to dividends or to amounts distributable on liquidation, or to both, ahead of common shareholders.

Preferred stock is given preference over common stock. Holders of preferred stock receive dividends at a fixed annual rate.
 (NYSE:AMB Pf A). The dividend is payable on January 15, 2001 to stockholders of record as of January 4, 2001.
