Chahe Keuroghelian, a spokesman for the Glendale Police Department, said police arrested Martin Salgado, 30, and Edgar Cardena, 29, of Silver Lake on suspicion of grand theft after securing a search warrant for Salgado's home. The toucan is worth about $5,000, Keuroghelian said. The bird is a pet owned by the operator of Dinosaur Experience, a store in the Glendale Galleria.
