spokesperson of AMAN told reporter that the relief goods of Rs 0.58
million were distributed among the IDPs.The relief goods included
blankets, mattress and flour, sugar, pulses, milk powder etc, she said.
She said their was need to pool the resources at local level and help
those homeless families.The Spokesperson said AMAN, with the help of its
organized groups called Livelihood Councils - LCs) was trying to provide
them basic needs of life. However, she appealed to philanthropists to
donate and help IDPs in this hour of distress. Donation could be
deposited an account number 2555-0 Allied Bank I-9 branch Islamabad, she
said.She said AMAN was already working for disaster management and peace
promotion in Pakistan and has identified a big number of IDPs in
district Mansehra.
