AMA Houston Sponsors Luncheon Featuring Houston Texans President.

The Houston Texans are a professional American football team based in Houston, Texas.
 President Jamey Rootes will speak on "Give Your Brand the Keys to Victory" at the September 10 luncheon of the American Marketing Association The American Marketing Association, one of the largest professional associations for marketers, has 38,000 members worldwide in every area of marketing. For over six decades the AMA has been the leading source for information, knowledge sharing and development in the marketing profession. , Houston Chapter.

Rootes is a former marketing professional at both IBM (International Business Machines Corporation, Armonk, NY, www.ibm.com) The world's largest computer company. IBM's product lines include the S/390 mainframes (zSeries), AS/400 midrange business systems (iSeries), RS/6000 workstations and servers (pSeries), Intel-based servers (xSeries)  and Procter & Gamble. His talk focuses on the marketing "Keys to Victory" including leadership, people, relationships, focus, teamwork and culture. Since joining the Texans, Rootes has overseen the team's efforts to secure stadium naming rights and sponsorship, coordinated radio and TV broadcasting relationships and led the creation and launch of the team's identity.
