 AM Chris Franks Christopher Paul Franks (born 2 August, 1951) is a Welsh engineer and politician. A member of Plaid Cymru, he has led the party's group on the Vale of Glamorgan council, and since 2007 he has been a member of the National Assembly for Wales.  for the quality of its education The Estyn report on Llanilltud Fawr Primary, Llantwit Major, found that the school had good standards and was very well led by the headteacher, staff and governors.

Teachers were praised for challenging and stimulating learners.

Mr Franks said: "I have written to Llanilltud Fawr to congratulate them on their Estyn report, which is really excellent.

"I noticed that the percentage of pupils achieving Level 5 was well above both local and national averages."
