AM International Inc. announces commitment for working capital financing.


MT. PROSPECT, Ill.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 22, 1997--AM International Inc. (ASE (Adaptive Server Enterprise) A relational DBMS from Sybase that runs on Windows NT/2000, Linux and a variety of Unix platforms. ASE is a comprehensive and robust data management product with a long history dating back to the late 1980s. :AM) Thursday Thursday: see week.  announced that it has received a working capital financing commitment from Foothill Capital Corp.

The three-year commitment provides for a secured credit line of $10 million subject to borrowing base limitations and subject to certain conditions, including negotiation and execution of final documents, among other things.

The credit line will be used for general corporate purposes.

, Thursday said that "the credit line, combined with existing cash balances of approximately $27 million, provide the company with the cash resources to achieve its growth objectives as a distributor in the graphics art industry."

On May 27, 1997, the company will pay from its cash balances a $2 dividend to all shareholders of record as of May 13, 1997. There are approximately 7,040,000 shares of the company's common stock outstanding.
