AM Communications, Inc.'s Systems Integration Division (OTC:AMCM) announced today the availability of their Universal Headend Consolidator (UHC). The UHC platform supports the company's new BOSS(TM) family of network management solutions. BOSS products are developed under a joint-venture partnership between AM Communications and NeST Technologies, Inc. Unlike traditional 'bundled' network management solutions, BOSS products are cost-effective and targeted solutions to foundation network management problems.

The UHC integrates primary functions such as data collection, performance correlation and alarm storm suppression. It analyzes the behavior of outside plant and subscriber premises equipment, and provides root-cause performance information, which empowers regional managers to make more efficient use of their maintenance resources.
