). The UHC platform supports the company's new BOSS(TM) family of network management solutions. BOSS products are developed under a joint-venture partnership between AM Communications and NeST Technologies, Inc. Unlike traditional 'bundled' network management solutions, BOSS products are cost-effective and targeted solutions to foundation network management problems.

The UHC integrates primary functions such as data collection, performance correlation and alarm storm suppression. It analyzes the behavior of outside plant and subscriber premises equipment, and provides root-cause performance information, which empowers regional managers to make more efficient use of their maintenance resources. Predictive analysis and 'just-in-time' (JIT JIT - dynamic translation ) maintenance are key elements to improving quality of service (QoS) and lowering operations costs.

Joe Rocci, VP and GM of AM Communications' Broadband Products Division, commented, "AM Communications has more than 20 years experience managing headend and outside plant equipment. We support more than 200 network equipment monitoring interfaces and protocols. Having worked in every aspect of CATV (Community Antenna TV) The original name for cable TV. It used a single antenna at the highest location in the community in order to deliver a quality signal to homes in areas with hilly terrain or other interference.  networks for many years, we have developed a unique perspective on HFC 1.  plant management. The UHC leverages our understanding of network performance, providing network managers with ordered, filtered, and correlated information that is meaningful and useful."
