ALYA International, Inc. Announces Symbol Change.

AUSTIN, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 8, 1999--

Douglas Corbett, President of ALYA International, Inc. (OTC BB:ALYAE) announced today that the Company's trading symbol has changed from ALYA to ALYAE.

Corbett stated, "Due to the new guidelines from the SEC and NASD for Bulletin Board Securities, ALYA International, Inc. will be trading under the symbol ALYAE until the company is fully reporting."

Corbett continued, "The Company's auditors, PricewaterhouseCoopers completed a full annual regular audit of the financial statements for the year ended September 30, 1998, and the Company has also completed its six month interim financials to March 31, 1999. These latter financials will be released coincidentally with the completion of a Form SB-1 registration (with a prospectus included therein) which is expected to be filed early next week. We are therefore in the last stages of completing all of the necessary steps to becoming a fully reporting company," Corbett said.

The shares will continue to trade under this new symbol (ALYAE) while the filing undergoes the regular review process by the SEC; any questions or comments are usually made known within 30 days. When the SEC accepts the filing the symbol will be changed back to ALYA.
