He was named president of Alumax Home and Specialty Products in 1984, vice president of Alumax in 1985 and was elected president of Kawneer in 1986. Mr. LaLonde was named group vice president of Alumax in 1991 and was responsible for Alumax's entire domestic and international products group. He was elected executive vice president of Alumax in 1994.
