) Board of Directors has elected Thomas L. Gleason treasurer of the corporation, reporting to Lawrence B. Frost, senior vice president and chief financial officer.

Mr. Gleason was vice president, corporate banking East USA, for Royal Bank of Canada Bank of Canada

. He joined the bank in 1978 and held various corporate banking positions with the bank in San Francisco, Dallas and Atlanta. In January 1992, he served the head office in Toronto in the areas of corporate banking, credit approval and treasury. In July 1993, he returned to the United States where he was responsible for U.S. business and strategy planning initiatives. He was elected a vice president of the bank in June 1994.
