ALSTOM Alstom (formerly GEC-Alsthom) (Euronext: ALO) is a large French multinational conglomerate whose businesses are power generation, railway signalling; and manufacturing trains (e.g. the TGV and Eurostar as well as Citadis trams) and the world's largest ships (e.g. , a French builder of ships and trains, won a 12-year, US$100 million contract from local shipping and logistics logistics

 company Transportacion Maritima Mexicana for the maintenance of its railway tracks.
