ALSTOM Power Launches Customer Service Web Portal; U.S. Program is Prototype for ALSTOM's Global Operations.

After a year in which it consolidated the power equipment businesses of several companies operating in the U.S., ALSTOM Power has introduced ALSTOM Power Online, a program to leverage the power of the Internet Internet

An e-service web site was launched this month and is being rolled out to customers. The interactive Customer Service Portal offers personalization Custom tailoring information to the individual. On the Web, personalization means returning a page that has been customized for the user, taking into consideration that person's habits and preferences.  features for each user, so that they receive only the information appropriate to their requirements and profile. Currently users can request quotes, view product information, review inventory levels and obtain order status, among other functions.
