ALRENCO REPORTS RECORD RESULTS FOR FOURTH QUARTER 1995.

Alrenco reported a 33% increase in revenues for the fourth quarter to $11.3 million from $8.5 million for the fourth quarter of 1994. Net earnings for the quarter increased 112% to $495,000 from $233,000 for the year-earlier period. Earnings per share for the quarter doubled to $0.16 from $0.08 in the fourth quarter last year. For the 12 months ended December 31, 1995, revenues increased 35% to $37.6 million from $27.8 million for 1994. Net earnings for the year were $1.3 million, a 32% increase from 1994 net earnings of $962,000. Without giving effect to the recent issuance of 1.1 million additional shares, earnings per share were $0.41 for the year compared with $0.31 per share for 1994.
