ALR Technologies, Inc., Forms a Business and Technical Support Advisory Board; New Board to Provide Management Support.

BELLINGHAM, Wash.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 31, 2000

ALR Technologies, Inc. ("ALR Tech"), today announced the formation of an Advisory Board, which will advise ALR Tech management on business and technical aspects of their pharmaceutical administration reminder products.

The Advisory Board will include four seasoned individuals who will contribute their business and technical expertise in order to assist ALR Tech with its planned product development and sales program. The following individuals will serve as members of the Advisory Board:

Dr. Michael Baumgardner, President of Burke, Inc. - Dr. Baumgardner has been the President of Burke, Inc., since 1994. Headquartered in Cincinnati, OH, Burke, Inc., is one of the premier international marketing research and consulting firms, with offices and affiliates in 40 countries. Dr. Baumgardner received his M.A. and Ph.D. degrees from Ohio State University Ohio State University, main campus at Columbus; land-grant and state supported; coeducational; chartered 1870, opened 1873 as Ohio Agricultural and Mechanical College, renamed 1878. There are also campuses at Lima, Mansfield, Marion, and Newark. .
