ALPS Appoints John Donaldson as Chief Financial Officer.

DENVER -- ALPS Fund Services, Inc., a leading provider of outsourced and advisory solutions to the investment management industry, announced the appointment of John Donaldson as Chief Financial Officer.

Mr. Donaldson brings more than 15 years of financial management and investment banking experience to ALPS. Prior to joining ALPS, he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Denver-based Northstar Exchange Corporation, leading the company through a corporate restructuring and a complex merger resulting in the creation of a leading national service platform. He also built and managed the company's finance and accounting departments for the transaction intensive enterprise.

Mr. Donaldson also served as Managing Principal at Bison Partners, LLC, a financial advisory firm which he founded to serve small to middle-market companies. He also held senior-level positions at Tucker Anthony Sutro Capital Markets in Denver and A.G. Edwards & Sons, Inc. in St. Louis.

Mr. Donaldson will be responsible for hands-on financial planning at ALPS, including financial management, financial policy development and implementation, short- and long-term forecasting, strategic planning and financing acquisitions.

Mr. Donaldson holds an MBA from The University of Chicago Graduate School of Business and a BA from Bucknell University.
