), the largest dedicated commercial provider of language translation and related services to businesses, today announced its partnership with Europe Online has been implemented and ALPNET is now available on Europe Online.

Thomas F. Seal, ALPNET president and chief executive officer, stated, "As of today, all of ALPNET's worldwide services and offices are available to users of Europe Online. In addition, through Europe Online's bi-directional interface to the Internet, ALPNET is also available to anyone connected to the Internet, worldwide. Making ALPNET services available via Europe Online and the Internet is an important first step in ALPNET's strategic plan to make easy to use, high quality, in-country translation services available to anyone who has access to a computer and a modem. We believe a major factor in the explosive growth of the Internet is bringing information and services to people's desks, in an easy-to-use format, and that is what ALPNET's offering is designed to do."

Seal continued by saying "Europe Online is an online service developed and run by Europeans, primarily for Europeans. In Europe, the issue of language is well understood as vital to successful commercial enterprises. This is why Europe Online has implemented a truly multilingual mul·ti·lin·gual

online service, and why they selected ALPNET as their exclusive translation partner, and provider. The initial ALPNET offering is limited to information about ALPNET and the services we offer, as well as the ability to communicate directly with ALPNET offices worldwide. However, the nature of online services is dynamic, and ALPNET will be adding capabilities and offerings to its online service every week. Early in 1996, we anticipate clients will be able to place orders directly through the service, and as ALPNET fully implements its online service later in 1996, clients will be able to obtain information, receive quotes, submit work, check status, receive the completed work, and pay for it, all directly via the net."

ALPNET indicated that users of Europe Online can find ALPNET services directly on the Europe Online International Reference page, and Internet users Internet user ninternauta m/f
