ALM LAUNCHES NEWS SERVICE AND REGIONAL EDITIONS OF "THE NAT'L LAW JOURNAL".

) has launched the "American Lawyer Media News Service," a new information resource designed to expand the company's coverage of breaking law and court case news and analysis for all 50 states. In addition, the company plans to launch three more regional editions of The National Law Journal later this year.

The "ALM News Service," based in New York with news bureaus in Chicago and Boston and national correspondents, will contribute daily reporting of regional legal and law industry news. It is described as "the only same-day source for complete summaries and full-text opinions" of state Appellate Relating to appeals; reviews by superior courts of decisions of inferior courts or administrative agencies and other proceedings.  and Supreme Court, and U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals decisions for all states. The content will be available in print through ALM's 21 publications, and on the Web through the regional legal site networks of Law. com, ALM's online partner. ALM is also offering content for syndication See syndication format.  to other print and database publishers.

The new regional editions of TNLJ include an Illinois Illinois, river, United States

In January, TNLJ launched its first regional edition for Long Island.
