ALLTEL Supply Receives Distribution Rights to ADTRAN TRACER, Next-Generation T1 Wireless System.

:AT), is now distributing the TRACER tracer, an identifiable substance used to follow the course of a physical, chemical, or biological process. In chemistry the ideal tracer has the same chemical properties as the molecule it replaces and undergoes the same reactions but can at all times be detectible (R) Digital Spread Spectrum Radio, ADTRAN's license-free dual T1 wireless transmission system, in the domestic United States.

ALLTEL Supply is providing first-level technical support to resellers of TRACER, and is pre-bundling the system with complementary equipment to provide a complete wireless T1 solution.

ADTRAN TRACER offers the capacity of two T1s at a price comparable to a single T1 wireless system, and provides point-to-point connections for up to 30 miles. TRACER operates in the FCC's unlicensed 2.4 GHz ISM band, so it can be quickly installed without time-consuming and expensive frequency coordination. The system is designed for use by cellular and PCS (1) (Personal Communications Services) Refers to wireless services that emerged after the U.S. government auctioned commercial licenses in 1994 and 1995. This radio spectrum in the 1.  service providers, as well as private networks requiring high-speed wireless connections for voice, data or video applications.
