ALLTEL Reaches Agreement with CWA in Pennsylvania.

:AT) today announced it has reached agreement on a new three-year contract with about 130 employees represented by the Communications Workers of America Communications Workers of America (CWA) is the largest communications and media labor union in the United States (the union also has locals in Canada), representing over 700,000 workers in both the private and public sectors.  in western Pennsylvania Western Pennsylvania consists of the western third of the state of Pennsylvania in the United States.

Pittsburgh is the largest city in the region, with a metropolitan area of about 2.4 million people, and is the cultural center for Western Pennsylvania.

The contract covers CWA CWA Clean Water Act (33 USC)
CWA Communications Workers of America
CWA Concerned Women for America
CWA CEN Workshop Agreement (European pre-normative document)
CWA County Warning Area
CWA Clean Water Action
 members in Export, Kittanning, Murrysville, Lansford, Muncy, Ridgway and Brookville. The agreement will be put up for ratification by the union membership in the next 30 days.

ALLTEL is a customer-focused communications company Communications Company is a communications unit of the United States Marine Corps. They are part of Combat Logistics Regiment 37 , 3rd Marine Logistics Group (3MLG) and III Marine Expeditionary Force (III MEF). The unit is based out of the Marine Corps Base Camp Smedley D.  with more than 12 million customers and nearly $8 billion in annual revenues. ALLTEL provides wireless, local telephone, long-distance, Internet and high-speed data services to residential and business customers in 26 states.
