Physicians commonly use illustrations to help their patients better understand their conditions. Pocket Anatomy runs exclusively on the Microsoft (Nasdaq: MSFT) Pocket PC platform and provides more than 90 color indexed illustrations of normal and common conditions.

Pocket Anatomy is available free to qualified healthcare providers and can be downloaded on the Web. It is currently a featured link on Microsoft's main Pocket PC download page http://www.pocketpc.com . Pocket Anatomy seamlessly integrates with other Allscripts Pocket Library reference titles, which can also be downloaded from http://www.allscripts.com . Additional illustrations will be made available on a subscription basis.

Pocket Anatomy and its companion drug reference guides in the Allscripts Pocket Library make up the first truly integrated medical reference suite. Other current titles in the Allscripts Pocket Library series include DrugGuide, Pediatric DrugGuide, Geriatric DrugGuide, and PediaStat (pediatric treatment guidelines for emergent and urgent care).
