ALLIANT Medical Technologies and NOMOS Corporation Form Distribution Alliance; ALLIANT Further Expands Presence in Radiation Oncology Field.

ALLIANT(TM) Medical Technologies (OTCBB: URMD.OB) today announced that it has signed a multi-year distribution agreement with NOMOS Corporation to market its Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT) and other cancer treatment products to the radiation oncology marketplace. PEREGRINE(TM), NOMOS' Monte Carlo dose calculation system, and BAT(R), its unique ultrasound localization system, will also be distributed under the agreement.

IMRT is the fastest growing segment of the radiation therapy market and enjoys favorable reimbursement. With the addition of NOMOS' products, ALLIANT(TM), a combination of UroMed and SSGI/Prowess Systems, offers a comprehensive line of advanced radiation therapy products used in the treatment, planning and delivery of brachytherapy and external beam radiation therapy.
