ALLIANCE PROGRAM DELIVERS GLOBAL E-BUSINESS SOLUTIONS.


Blue Martini Software, Inc., (Nasdaq: BLUE) a provider of enterprise software applications that help companies to understand, target and interact with their customers and partners, has added Cap Gemini Ernst & Young to the Blue Martini Software Alliance Program at the highest, strategic level. Under the alliance, Cap Gemini Ernst & Young's consumer goods, retail and distribution practice will be able to offer to companies around the world Blue Martini applications for Commerce, Marketing, Channels and Service. Companies including leading Canadian hard goods retailer Canadian Tire Corporation, Limited (TSE: CTR.A, CTR) have already selected Blue Martini applications together with Cap Gemini Ernst & Young's strategy, development and implementation services.

Alliance To Focus on Fulfilling Needs of Global Companies

Cap Gemini Ernst & Young has the capability to enable a client's entire online business model by integrating demand, fulfillment and replenishment capabilities with Blue Martini applications. A focus will be to leverage Cap Gemini Ernst & Young's consumer products, retail and manufacturing distribution expertise to deliver integrated business and technical solutions targeted to the needs of these industries. The companies have each assigned alliance managers, are developing joint targeted sales opportunities and are conducting jointly funded marketing initiatives. The alliance is global, with an initial focus on the North American markets. Cap Gemini Ernst & Young will continue to train up to 100 consultants to implement the Blue Martini applications.

With its strong customer promotion features, the ability to present content in multiple languages and other features, the Java-based Blue Martini applications today power the company's website and call center and provide the majority of Canadian Tire's required e-business functionality.
