Among three major gifts received last year, one included a $1.5 million donation from William and Beverly Dallas of Westlake Village, who were to be honored Monday for their gift. The arts community and the city, wanting to say ``thank you'' in grand style, were holding evening ceremonies feting the couple and naming the roadway leading up to the Civic Arts Plaza in their honor. ``It's kind of the gateway to the arts,'' said Patricia Moore, executive director of the alliance about the short driveway to the center.
