:ALE) will announce its financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2008 with a news release scheduled to be issued before the market opens on Friday, August 1, 2008.

Following the release, ALLETE Chairman, President and CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board.  Donald J. Shippar and Chief Financial Officer Mark A.
