Community Therapies/Baby Steps provides therapy and other help to children up to age 3 with special needs. Amity Foundation helps children whose parents are in jail or prison. The Migrant program helps families of migrant farm workers.

``The purpose of the toy drive is to help parents and children who need a little assistance during the holiday season,'' said Nancy Monahan, Adelphi/Palmdale marketing manager. ``Many of these children would not have a Christmas without the generous support of the Antelope Valley This article is about the Los Angeles County region.
