ALIANT Bank of Birmingham, Ala., has named David S. Bair president and chief operating officer, succeeding William M. Richardson Jr., who retired. Bair Will work from the Birmingham Meadow Brook office. Previously, Bair was national sates manager, full service brokerage, for Banc of America Investment Services in Charlotte, N.C.
