 Lummus Global won a $69.9m contract to raise OH3's capacity to 500,000 b/d. The 290 km line links HBKS to the Haoud El Hamra oil dispatching terminal in the Sahara.

In late 2000, a $335m contract went to a Spie Capag-Saipem partnership to build the pumping facilities of OZ2 pipeline to expand the "oil corridor" from Haoud El Hamra to Arzew by 2002 in a $1 bn project. The pipeline is being built by the local Cosider BRC BRC Black Rock City (Burning Man)
