Thanks to steady capacity expansions, exports have risen from about 3.5m tons in 1996. Exports will exceed 8.5m t/y by 2005, when Algeria's LPG consumption is expected to reach more than 3m t/y. Sonatrach has built new process trains at Bethioua, the main LPG producing complex. |
