Indians senior Alex Herrera Alexander J. Herrera (born November 5, 1976 in Maracaibo, Zulia State, Venezuela) is a Major League Baseball left-handed set-up pitcher who plays for the Colorado Rockies. Previously, he played with the Cleveland Indians (2002-03). , who finished fourth in Southern Section last year at 125 pounds, will take the league's No. 1 seeding at 135 pounds into the Feb. 20-21 prelims at Santiago High.

Herrera, who advanced without needing a match at the league finals, will take a 36-4 record into the postseason.

Weston Dimeo of Alemany also advanced as league runner-up at 171 pounds.
