ALCOHOL SUSPECTED IN A.V. ROAD DEATH.

PALMDALE - A Palmdale man who may have been drinking was killed when he lost control of his car and it slammed into a tree, a sheriff's deputy said.

Gabriel Salva, 22, was found dead in his car about 6:15 a.m. Tuesday on 50th Street East just south of Avenue L but officials are unsure how much earlier the crash had occurred.
