ALCOHOL MAY HAVE LED TO FATAL CRASH.

PALMDALE - Sheriff's deputies are investigating whether a motorist was driving under the influence of alcohol when his SUV hit a minivan, killing a Palmdale mother of two.

 on the wrong side of Avenue R when it hit a minivan in which Sandra Pineda was riding, deputies said. Dela Rosa had been drinking before the 7:50 p.m. Sunday crash, deputies said.
