ALCO STANDARD ACQUIRES CALIFORNIA COPY INCORPORATED

 VALLEY FORGE, Pa., Nov. 11 /PRNewswire/ -- On Thursday, Oct. 21, Alco Standard Corporation (NYSE: ASN) announced the acquisition of California Copy Incorporated of Stockton, Calif.
 The company is a distributor of Ricoh and Savin copier and facsimile equipment. California Copy will become a market extension of Taylor Made Office Systems, Inc. (Taylor Made), Alco's second-largest copier dealership.
 Combined annual revenues for Taylor Made and California Copy Inc. are projected to exceed $115 million for fiscal year 1994.
 Alco Office Products, headquartered in Valley Forge, is the largest network of independent copier and office equipment dealers in the world. Fiscal 1994 revenues will approach $2 billion.
 Alco Standard Corporation, also headquartered in Valley Forge, is a publicly owned distribution and services company with annualized revenues approaching $8 billion.
