Johnson has been with ALCO for more than 20 years, and is responsible for implementing the firm's strategic plan for growth. A CITP must pass certification criteria that ensure their understanding of business procedures and information technology. Because they understand both, they are able to apply technology effectively at their company, helping it achieve a higher level of success. In addition, the CITP designation carries with it ongoing continuing education requirements so that holders stay current with trends and technologies which can benefit their firms.
