ALASKA ANNOUNCES FALL SERVICE INCREASES.SEATTLE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 10, 1995--Alaska Airlines is expanding its fall schedule with the first of several changes in service announced today. On September 10, the carrier is increasing service between Seattle and Spokane to five daily round-trip flights. Currently Alaska provides two daily round-trips in the market while its sister carrier, Horizon Air, offers 17 daily round-trips between the two cities. Alaska is also providing more service this year between Seattle and Anchorage Anchorage (ăng`kərĭj), city (1990 pop. 226,338), Anchorage census div., S central Alaska, a port at the head of Cook Inlet; inc. 1920. . Last fall, the airline offered 11 nonstops; this fall the number jumps to 15 daily trips in each direction. More service also will be offered in Southeast Alaska in the month of September. The airline is extending its current summer schedule again this year, providing one additional flight between Seattle and Juneau and an additional round-trip between Seattle and Ketchikan through October 1.
