:AMI) announced today that Frederic Denerolle has been appointed vice president and general manager of the International Business Unit of its operating subsidiary, ALARIS Medical Systems Inc., headquartered in Basingstoke, England.

He replaces Henk van Rossem who left the company last year. Denerolle's appointment was effective Jan. 8, 2001.

Over the past 15 years, Denerolle has held increasingly responsible leadership positions in well-known International medical device companies. In particular, he has been intimately involved in the drug infusion device infusion device Therapeutics A device used to administer therapeutics–eg, analgesics, antimicrobials, blood products, chemotherapy, nutrients. An experienced general manager, he was most recently the executive vice president/general manager of Fresenius' Infusion Technology Division.

Schlotterbeck also indicated that he has realigned the responsibilities of several other corporate officers. Sally M. Grigoriev has been appointed vice president -- operations, with worldwide responsibility for manufacturing, sourcing and distribution of ALARIS Medical Systems' products. She replaces Joergen Lyngsgaard, who will be leaving the company on March 30. Grigoriev, who has been with the company since 1995, was previously vice president -- regulatory affairs and quality assurance. That position has been filled by the promotion of William H. Murphy, formerly director of regulatory affairs for the company. Murphy is a seasoned executive with many years of experience not only in QA/RA but also in Operations and R&D. He has a BS degree from Augusta College in Georgia, has presented to the Food and Drug Law Institute, and has held senior leadership positions in leading medical device manufacturers including The Kendall Company, Hudson RCI RCI Royal Caribbean International
