BRAVE teen Alan Doherty will show Bertie Ahern how his new chin is shaping up tonight.

Alan, 18, is flying home to Letterkenny, Co Donegal, to meet the Taoiseach at a VIP bash. But he nearly didn't make it because doctors overseeing his pounds 350,000 operation wanted to keep an eye on him.

And he said yesterday: "We are so glad that we'll be home on Friday. It looks like all the praying has paid off."
