ALLAN McGREGOR Allan James McGregor (born January 31, 1982, in Edinburgh) is a professional football goalkeeper currently playing for Scottish Premier League club Rangers. Career
McGregor signed for Rangers in 1998 and was touted as an excellent goalkeeping prospect.
 has vowed to put the "Boozegate" saga behind him and win his place back in the Rangers side.

Speaking for the first time since the infamous scandal, the 27-year-old insisted he had no intention of jumping ship this summer.

McGregor played his first game for the Light Blues since March when he came on as a second half substitute in Sunday's friendly win over Nurnberg.

The keeper's Ibrox career looked over after he and former team-mate Barry Ferguson Barry Ferguson MBE (born Hamilton, Scotland, February 2, 1978) is a Scottish professional footballer who plays in midfield. He currently plays for and captains both Scottish Premier League club Rangers and the Scotland national team.  were suspended without pay for two weeks following their behaviour while on Scotland duty at the start of April.

Both indulged in an early hours drinking session before flicking V-signs during the World Cup qualifier against Iceland days later.

But McGregor vowed: "I'm happy here at Rangers. I have four years left on my contract and I'm pleased to be back involved.

"I am really happy here and I'm looking forward to the new season.

"I'm sure people will bring it up [the Scotland drinking session] but I don't see the point in continuing to talk about it. What is done is done and it's end of story for me. It's in the past."
