AKO UK launch new ATEX pinch valve.

AKO Ako (äkō`), city (1990 pop. 51,131), Hyogo prefecture, W Honshu, Japan, on the Harima Sea. Relying on its steel and chemical industries, Ako has become one of Japan's most polluted industrial cities.  UK have launched their new ATEX ATEX ATmosphere EXplosibles (French: Explosive Atmospheres)
ATEX Anti-Terrorism Exercise
ATEX ATM Tributary Extension (Tellabs)
Pinch Valve for use in potentially explosive environments, with sizes ranging from 15mm to 250mm. This is just one of the many improvements that AKO UK have made to the Pinch Valve to ensure it can compete with more 'traditional' valves on the market.

By complying with ATEX, named after the French "ATmosphere EXplosible", AKO UK are starting to realise the potential in new markets.

The AKO ATEX valve is intended for use in potentially Explosive Zones 1/21 or 2/22. The valve is physically very similar to a 'standard' Pinch Valve, keeping the main advantage of the completely clear bore. In fact the only visible differences are the lock teeth washers and the earth connection. The washers are used with the flange flange (flanj) a projecting border or edge; in dentistry, that part of the denture base which extends from around the embedded teeth to the border of the denture.
