This time, the web hosting and ecommerce provider is rolling out SQL 2000 database. The introduction of SQL 2000 further solidifies AIT's relationship with Microsoft. SQL 2000 allows users to access and manipulate data from a web browser. It's another aspect of the mobile office concept that's being developed to accommodate both ecommerce companies and brick and mortar enterprises. The database can be built and deployed quickly, and can perform data mining on customers and financial information. "It provides for limitless growth, which fits very comfortably into our business model," said Briggs. "Too many products require companies to invest in more infrastructure or software than they need, and excessive overhead has proven a serious problem in the Internet industry."
