) (http://AIT.com) is offering one year of free hosting to all military veterans and active duty personnel with the purchase of a domain name (http://www.AIT.com/veteran-hosting.php). "This program gives back to our veterans; enabling them to create a website by which they can use for whatever purpose fits them," said AIT's CEO and Founder, Clarence E. Briggs III, a Veteran in his own right. "This is a great opportunity for any veteran wishing to get on the Internet.

With the understanding that many Veterans are empowered by the Entrepreneurial spirit; they take risks and leverage their passion for the opportunity to become business owners themselves, Clarence decided this was the perfect time to give back to the Men and Women who've served this nation in times past, and who are still serving today. "Look, when I first started the Internet was an explosive phenomenon. People were just excited to be online," said Briggs. "Starting a business is difficult and the pitfalls are many. This is especially true for doing business on the web," Briggs said. "It is my earnest hope that those Veterans wishing to take advantage of this offer do so, and we'll be here every step of the way to help them succeed.

Steve Avent, a Veteran and site administrator for the North Carolina Mayflower Society Sons of the American Revolution Web Site had this to say, "Websites are a means of documenting a type of write-it-as-you-saw-it historical chronicle that will outlast even the best of memories. Every military unit keeps records of places it has gone and action it has seen. Veteran's sites can now be used to supplement official historical records and enhance the volumes of historical data in existence today," said Avent. "This is the information age photo album; I'm proud that a company I do business with has the wherewithal to give back to the men and women of our armed services in this way. This has simply reinforced my decision to bring my business to AIT."

Founded in 1996 in its hometown of Fayetteville, North Carolina, AIT is a Service Disabled Veteran Owned (80% Prior Military) business. AIT has completed 10 straight years of sustained profitability generating more than $111 Million in revenue, creating a profound influence on its surrounding community. AIT has created more than 236 IT jobs, made a direct capital investment of $5,800,000 on the Corporate Headquarters, completed a payroll investment of $22,000,000, and made direct purchases of $8,200,000 from state and local vendors.
