AISI maintenance: check the batteries.Some engineer units are finding after they deploy that their automated integrated surveying instruments Surveying instruments Instruments used in surveying operations to measure vertical angles, horizontal angles, and distance. Such devices were originally mechanical only, but technological advances led to mechanical-optical devices, optical-electronic devices, (AISIs) aren't working right because the batteries need to be replaced. Don't let that happen to you! Survey the batteries on all of your AISIs to see if their internal batteries have been replaced in the last three years. If not, the batteries need to be replaced. There are two ways to check: * Look at the Trimble Battery replacement due date sticker just below the distance meter head. * Turn the power on and look for INFO 26 in the display. If it is, then the batteries need to be replaced as soon as possible. If you continue to operate the AISI AISI American Iron and Steel Institute AISI African Information Society Initiative AISI Alberta Initiative for School Improvement (Canada) AISI As I See It AISI American International Supply, Inc (Oakland, CA) in an INFO 26 condition or with expired batteries, you risk total loss of the AISI's memory or AISI failure.
