AIRPORT SYSTEMS ANNOUNCES FOUR NAVAID CONTRACTS LOCATIONS INCLUDE UNITED STATES AND INTERNATIONAL SITES.

OVERLAND PARK, Kan.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 21, 1996--Airport Systems International, Inc. (Nasdaq/NM:ASII) today announced that it has been awarded four contracts valued at approximately $1.5 million for navigational and landing aid equipment for sites both in the United States and internationally.

"These four contracts signal a continuation of the positive momentum which has developed in incoming orders for Airport Systems," remarked Keith S. Cowan, president and chief executive officer. "We expect to ship the majority of the navaids covered by these contracts during the Company's third fiscal quarter which ends in January. The international contracts include equipment for Turkey and the Phillippines. We are especially pleased with these awards because of the endorsement they represent for our previous work in each geographic area. Both Turkey and the Phillippines also represent markets which we believe offer attractive potential for additional business. In the United States, the new orders are for equipment at airports in Florida This is a list of airports in Florida (a U.S. state), grouped by type and sorted by location.
