AIRNET ANNOUNCES STRATEGIC ALLIANCE WITH COMSYST OF AUSTRALIA.


MELBOURNE, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 17, 1996--AirNet Communications Corporation announced today a strategic alliance with Comsyst Pty Ltd PTY LTD Propriety Limited (company structure in Australia) . of Sydney, Australia to distribute and support Airnet's software-based, broadband wireless See wireless broadband.  infrastructure equipment products and systems in the Australian and Southeast Asian markets.

Fairlie, Comsyst's president and chief executive officer. "There is a natural match between AirNet's base station technology and the marketing, systems integration and support capabilities of Comsyst."
